Taylor and I had a fantastic day cycling arond the island of Inis More. (Dr. Kinnear and Ashten would love the easy ride around the island. If they took their time it might take them half an hour.) It is the largest island out of the tree islands that make up the Aran Islands. Never in our lives did we think that we would be cycling the Irish countryside looking for seals (no such luck) and ditching the bikes to hang out over sheer cliffs and angry water. We climbed up to Dun Aonghasa - a semi circular Celtic stone fort and met some friendly Canadians on a two week tour of Ireland. I enjoyed the boat ride out to the islands, but fear that my land-loving companions were not so taken with the gentle rocking of the ship. Taylor and I lost them as soon as they dragged themselves off the boat and into the nearest coffee shop/bathroom. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Mom, I was definitely channeling your fear of heights at moments. I was certain Taylor was going to fall to her death more than once. Two of the pictures were taken as I dangled over the cliff's edge (HC has life insurance, right?). I am off for the night and ready to tackle Davy's and St.Bridgett's well tomorrow. Hope all is well in America. PS
